How to Walk in High Heels!

It's every woman's desire to walk in high heels. There is no doubt about it. But as they say "No pain, No gain", walking in high heels is not that easy. You love them but you cannot walk in them--that's the condition of many wannabes. You need to follow certain steps:


  1. Practice walking in low heels. This is a mandatory step for almost all women as it trains your feet to walk in heels.
  2. Wear heels for a short duration in the beginning and then gradually increase the duration.
  3. Take short baby steps instead of wide ones.
  4. Climbing up or stepping down a staircase needs much homework. Do not try them before you are comfortable walking on flat ground.
  5. Practice walking on tip toes barefoot as this would strengthen your toes.
  6. Transfer the body weight to the toes immediately after you start walking, else there are chances that you lose your balance.
  7. If you have bought a new pair of high heel sandals, take time to break them in.
  8. If your dress is long, take care that it doesn't mess up with your heeled sandals.
  9. Do not walk out in your high heels unless you feel very comfortable.

Do not wear high heels in grassy, watery areas. The best option is to walk bare foot.
