Corns and Calluses
Forefoot of human body can get affected by pain in the due course of a life time. Pains that afflict the forefoot of human are medically referred as neuromas. When nerves of metatarsal region of our foot get thickened due to external pressure on the nerve, this condition is termed Morton’s Neuroma. Sometimes, a portion of our hand and feet that is subjected to friction or stress becomes somewhat thick and hard. This is a clear indication that we are affected by calluses. Sometimes, serious infections can result from calluses. Another disease that is somewhat similar to callus is corn, which is a painful conical core instead of a dispersed thickened area like callus.
