I have purchased a new running shoe. What should I do to ensure that I do not develop blisters on wearing them?

Generally, if you are wearing a new running shoe, there are more chances of development of blisters. In order to avoid that, you need to "break in" your shoes. That is you should have a trial run with these shoes instead of wearing them directly for long distances. It will be best if at first you have walk with these shoes for a short distance. Try to buy a shoe whose size is a bit bigger than the size of your foot, wear socks along with the shoes and avoid buying extremely cheap shoes.
