Roger Vivier was an innovative shoe designer known for his brilliant craftsmanship in designing women’s shoes. This connoisseur shoe designer was born on 13th November 1913 in Paris. He was one of the maven designers who scrutinized the cutting edge of fashion with his distinctive shoe designs.

Even after his death Roger Vivier was still applauded for his invention of stiletto spike heels and comma heels that had a tremendous response from the women all over the world. He was an epitome in this distinctive world of fashion where he worked freelance for the legendary designers like Christian Dior, Yves Saint Laurent and Elsa Schiaparelli.

Company: After working for the high end shoe designers of the fashion world, Roger Vivier opened his stores in New York and Paris that had a grandstand play sales of his collections. But after his death on 2nd October 1998, it was Diego Della Valle the owner of Ted’s Group who gave a face lift to the collections of this luxury shoemaker uplifted brand Roger Vivier in 2000.
