Biography:
Patrick Cox, the hottest footwear designer was born in Edmonton in Canada in 19th march 1963. His fascination with the British fashion scene brought him to study in London’s Cordwainers Technical College at the age of 19. The period of 80s was in thirst of flagrant and flirtatious shoes in vogue. Cox then entered the field of fashion with his newfangled designs of shoes that had a craze among the celebrities.
Predominantly he came into the limelight and became one of the maverick designers with his “Wannabe” collection that hit the fashion scene in 1993. His astounding wannabe collection gave a huge response from Hollywood stars and celebrities. Gradually He established his own brand that is globally recognized and completed 20 years of grand success in its outgrowing business in UK, Japan, France and Hong Kong. Presently Cox is rocking the fashion industry with his excellent and fabulous collection of footwear.

Company: Cox has opened few stores in England, Europe, London and Paris that are outrageous and have full collection of all types of stunning footwear. He occupied an 800-square-foot section at the Tokyo department store Isetan that carried his whole line of footwear, apparel, and accessories.
In Field Since: Cox in his early 1980s stepped in designing shoes for John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood collection when he was still just a student. However this peerless designer created quite a name for himself in a short span of time.
Designs For: He has designed shoes celebrities like Gwen Stefani, Madonna, Elton John and Cate Blanchett. Actually he is famous for designing men’s shoes when compared to women’s shoes.
Popularity: Cox’s Wannabe collection hit the world of haute couture in 1993. He showed his excellence in wannabe collections. This graven image of the fashion industry was awarded with; Accessory Designer of the Year, British Fashion awards, 1994 and 1995; British Marie Claire Accessory Designer of the Year, 1996; Fashion Medal of Honor by the Footwear Association of New York, 1996
Nationality: Cox is basically a Canadian but kick-started his designing career in London.
