Biography:
Maud Frizon (born in France in 1941) is a Paris-born fashion designer who started designing shoes during early 1960’s. She is an epitome in designing extravagant shoes and was very popular among all the celebrated shoe designers of 1980’s. She followed the heritage designs of Beth Levine and foreshadowed the trendy designs of Manolo Blahnik. Frizon’s designs are completely womanish, artistic, sophisticated and eccentric. She was frustrated with the shoes which she found from other designers and then decided to step into designing shoes on her own in 1969.
Maud Frizon’s shoe collection had great applause from the critics as her shoes seize with chic and flirtatious appeal. In addition to that her shoe designs were extremely marvelous and unpredictable. She worked as a model for Nina Ricci, Jean Patou, Dior, and in particular was a favorite to André Courrèges.
