Oxford (Lace-up)

Oxford dress shoes have a tradition behind their name. Known for the plain design traditionally, they come with a little design in forms of perforations, cap-toes in the contemporary times. Lacing system in Oxford comes in two different forms:

Balmoral

Two pieces of the lacing leather are joined by stitching in the vamp area. When the lace is tied properly only the tip of the shoe tongue can be seen properly.

Bluchers

Two pieces of the lacing leather are separate without any stitching joining them. This feature enables you to tie the lace to your comfort, as there is lot of space in the lacing area.

Monk Strap

This style has the combination of slip-on and lace-up. In this style, the strap is fastened on a buckle. It is suitable for business wear and also for casual.

Loafers (Slip-on)

At times, people who worked in cattle areas used loafers, but now these are used by everyone for its elegant features, styles and attractive colors. Dress shoe loafer has a low broad heel with moccasin top in a slip-on style. They are grand looking shoes offering superior comfort to the wearer and ideal for informal occasions. Normally, the dress shoe loafers are cute with jeans, slacks or skirts.

Clog

Both men and women wear clog dress shoes. They are mostly wooden shoes that contain thick sole and have leather on upper side. You can wear it as protective clothing in factories, mines and farms. This can also be called as sabot.

Moccasins

Moccasin consists of single layer section. The piece in moccasin is molded upwards from the under surface to the gathered edges of the vamp.

Saddle Shoe

Imagine a white horse with a black saddle on the top. Yes. This is what a saddle shoe exactly is -- Laced shoe with a color-contrasting band over the instep. Usually saddle shoes come with black and white colors -- white for the upper and black for the "saddle".

Design

Plain-toe: Plain design over the toe-region of the shoe.

Cap-toe: A cap like stitching over the toe region of the shoe and hence the name cap-toe.

Wing-tip (Brogue): A ‘V' cut or ‘W' in the toe region of the shoe for stylistic purpose. Shoes
