Materials used in Hunting Boots

The three primary materials used in Hunting Boots are leather, fabric and rubber.

Leather:

The outer part of Hunting Boots is mostly made of leather, a highly durable material. The thicker the leather, the more durable the Hunting Boot is. Some Hunting Boots contain padded collar made of leather. Generally, three types of leather-cow hide, boar hide and kangaroo are used in making Hunting Boots. Among them, cow hide is the most popular and the least expensive one. Boar hide leather boots are somewhat tough compared to other boots and for this reason they are not preffered by many hunters. Hunting Boots made of kangaroo leather are lightweight but expensive as they are difficult to obtain.

Fabric:

Upper part of some Hunting Boots is made of fabric or a combination of both leather and fabric. Nylon is the most common fabric used in Hunting Boots. It is very tough and is worthy of cost. The advantage of fabric is that it is lighter and cheaper than leather. Besides nylon Hunting Boots are waterproof in nature.

Rubber:

Rubber Hunting Boots are waterproof in nature. Since these boots tend to hold body moisture , it is best to wear rubber boots in a wet environment or during long periods of inactivity so that chances of getting drenched with sweat are minimized.
