Gina, a UK Designer Shoe Company, has won US$ 196,255 from Moda In Pelle (high street retailer) who has copied its ladies' shoe designs. Nowadays, numbers of cases are arising like this in fashion world.

Gina is a handmade glamorous footwear company established by Master shoemaker Mehmet Kurdash in 1950. AGina spokesperson said "Moda In Pelle has since shelved the shoes involved after a court case settled the matter."

Website says "Moda in Pelle is a family run business which started with a single shop opening in Leeds in the mid 70s. It has grown steadily and now has 29 stores across the UK". When Just-style.com contacted on 15 April, the company was not available to comment on anything.
